SafeBlock is operated by Petricioiu Robert (“we”, “us”, “SafeBlock” or “SafeBlock team”). These Terms explain the rules, your rights, limitations of liability, and how we handle subscriptions, account features, and accountability notifications.

Accountability notifications are sent **only to the person you have agreed with as your accountability contact**. These notifications are intended to support your progress and may inform your contact if the app becomes inactive, the Safari extension is disabled, or the app is deleted.

1. Account & Trial

When you create an account in SafeBlock, you can access a 3-day free trial of the full premium functionality. During the trial, all features are available, including:

After the trial ends, users without a premium subscription can still use the core content filter, but accountability notifications and the Safari extension will no longer be active. Premium access can be purchased through the App Store, managed via RevenueCat.

2. Subscriptions & Premium

SafeBlock offers optional premium subscriptions. Subscription management, billing, and payment processing are handled by RevenueCat and the App Store. You can view and cancel subscriptions directly through your App Store account. Pricing is displayed in the app and may vary by region.

3. Accountability Notifications

Accountability notifications are designed to help users stay on track with their progress. Notifications are sent only to the person you have explicitly agreed with as your accountability contact. Notifications may include alerts if:

These notifications are intended to support your accountability and focus. No sensitive browsing data is shared, and users can manage or stop notifications in app settings.

4. Content Blocker Disclaimer

While SafeBlock aims to filter adult content, no content blocker can guarantee 100% effectiveness. Users may still encounter content that is partially or fully unblocked. SafeBlock is a tool for accountability and focus, and results depend on usage and other factors beyond our control.

5. Third-Party Services

To provide the app’s services, SafeBlock relies on the following trusted third-party providers:

Safari Content Blocker runs locally on your device. We do not collect browsing content; only minimal usage data is stored for account and accountability features.

6. Limitations of Liability

SafeBlock provides the app “as is” and without guarantees. We are not responsible for content that may bypass the filter, for interruptions in service, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Use the app at your own discretion.

7. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app: open Settings → Delete Account and follow the prompts. Deleting your account removes your data from our servers and, where applicable, from third-party services used for authentication and subscriptions. 8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence, and any disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Users outside the App Store’s jurisdiction agree that the App Store and applicable local regulations govern purchases and subscriptions.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated via the app or by email where appropriate.
